A very wonderful machine to compliment my lg tv. Really great player dose al that i want and a tiny a lot more i expectvery simple to deal with plug and participate in its so uncomplicated and the whole relatives get pleasure from it.

Amazed with the simplicity of environment up the system (once the speakers had been assembled)sound high quality from the nine. one system is outstanding make absolutely sure you do the software updatewi fi for the rear speakers is excellent (pleasant not to have loads of wire trailing)delivery and packaging was outstanding.

This makes you think that you have to go through the manufacturer. After 30 days my unit developed a fault and i’ve been going through lg customer support every time a problem occurred. Since buying this product i’ve been able to enjoy 8 weeks of trouble free use of this system and i’ve had it for about 8 months now. They won’t replace the box with a new one, they simply take it away and repair it or should i say try to. When my unit developed another fault and lg offered me yet another collect and repair (4th one) i contacted amazon directly, i explained about my troubled history with lg and said i was not satisfied with the unit. Amazon didn’t even hesitate, they offered me a full refund and apologized for all the trouble. After discussing all of my options with amazon customer support i decided to send my lg surround sound system back to amazon. Because i like the product but i hate lg’s customer support. Amazon have a policy for their electrical goods that allow you to send them back if they develop a fault within 1 year of purchase, had i realized that i would have never sent my box back to lg for a repair in the first instance and would have simply got a new one from amazon. Based on amazons excellent support i am now giving this unit 4 stars, if anyone has purchased this unit and it has ended up with a fault like mine or it keeps on failing, talk to amazon and send it back for a refund or a new one and don’t bother with lg support. You will save yourself a lot of trouble. **************************************************************************************************************i saw the negative reviews about the system and thought they were just unlucky.

    With streaming services built into the bluray player, including nowtv, amazon etc and with wireless back speakers (semi-wireless – there’s a receiver for the back pair but you still wire them to that receiver) plus pretty decent dps modes for non-surround sources this package represents great value for money. I would like to see the speakers have more solid bases to provide better isolation and reduce vibration but overall i would highly recommend this system to anyone who wants good sound with a modest footprint. It would make a great entry to home-cinema or if you’re looking to scale down from audiophile equipment for space you can’t go wrong with it. There have been a few small issues with the bluray software, e. Spotify crashes, but lg have addressed them pretty quickly with firmware updates.

    Impressed with the ease of setting up the system (once the speakers were assembled)sound quality from the 9. 1 system is excellent make sure you do the software updatewi fi for the rear speakers is great (nice not to have loads of wire trailing)delivery and packaging was excellent.

I have had no problems at all with the replacement and playing on the xbox is a dream compared to my old home cinema system. 1 and literally you had to crank it up to about 23 or more in volume just to hear it. However with this lg you are playing comfortably on volume 5 if not less. I have played on vol 10 but i have neighbours to think about and it literally rocks the place with explosions. I have had no problem with the unit freezing and have updated the software from out of the box. I have not done any measurements or positioned the speakers optimum levels, it does sound great out of the box. I honestly would love to wall mount these speakers but sadly not my place and the landlord will not allow me too. The speakers look fantastic but take a lot of cleaning to keep the piano black shiny. This is my second home cinema system and to be honest i wish that it was around years ago. 100 times better than my old sony.

        Really good sound full of extra features. I have had this system for over a month now and not had any problems as seen in some of the other reviews. You need a bit of space when assembling as there are a lot of quite sizeable parts. Once together there is a first time setup walk through which prompts you to setup your wifi or wired internet connection. After doing this i did the software update, i think this helped prevent the errors seen by other users. I have done a video review you can google it at http://youtu.     Well priced, surround sound. . This has been on my wish list since it first came on the market, finally had the money so i got it. Excelent toy, it fills the room with sound without needing to crank the volume right up. It makes any sound played through it good, the wireless rear speakers mean i no longer have wires all over the place. I would recommend this to anyone, one small fault is the speakers need some weight in the base to keep them steady.

      This is more of an aside to the other reviews to state that i have only had one issue with the player resetting itself, and that this hasn’t happened at all since manually updating the software. The player itself works well, with a reasonably quiet disc drive, and decent sound from the speakers. If you use this system in tandem with an lg tv, then the simplink allows you to control and power everything down with one remote, and even seems to eradicate lip sync issues. My only gripe is that without a calibration mic, you will have to measure the sound levels and speaker distances manually, but overall this is an improvement on the 2012 lg premium player.

        The mix of positive and frighteningly negative reviews made me a little nervous about buying this, but as it is a doddle to return stuff to amazon i thought it was worth a punt. I have had a 1000 watt sony 5. 1 home theatre for the last 5 years, which has performed faultlessly, but with the purchase of a 3d led tv, the need for a blu-ray player became apparent, so rather than try to squeeze yet another shiny black box into my tv cabinet, i opted for a replacement system. Opening the box was the first nervy bit. The speaker cones seem to vary in colour according to which website you look at, and i was concerned that they might be very bright yellow. That would have been enough to send the box back for me. Fortunately they are actually a fairly dark gold colour, so whilst not subtle, they don’t stand out as much as online images might suggest. The box is heavy by the way. Be careful or you’ll do your back in.

    Hi, i was a bit skeptical when i read the comments here at amazon uk because i had purchased the same model. I was trying to gauge customer perception and was worried that i ended up with a lemon. I got the home theater installed last week and everything worked fine. The final test was to try blue ray 3d discs which i did yesterday and it was flawless. I am not sure but i had updated the firmware the first time when i turned on the home theater. The version of the firmware was quite a leap going from version 3. X so i knew there were fixes/ enhancements in the firmware. I do agree that new products may come with bugs in the sw and that products should be tested thoroughly.

    Had this system a week now, and so far i have had no problems at all. Speakers take 10 minutes to build , and then everything else is plug and play. The sound is superb in our large lounge, far better than the yamaha soundbar that i had before and sent back( no the soundbars fault but our room shape ). Voices are crystal clear and the surround effects are amazing. Im really happy with this purchase.
