    This system came with european plugs so i had to delay my installation while i went and bought a couple of new plugs and fitted them. (this may be due to it being a review product but i notice some others have had the same issue. Two leads to plug into the wall, one hdmi to the telly and the hdmi inputs from the devices into the speaker. There is also a lead to connect the two front speakers. Within a few minutes i was up and running. Looks wise it passed the fussy partner test. The wood is of a mid tone so matches light or dark furniture, the leather handles look good and the whole thing is a lot less obtrusive than a sound bar or other system due to the lack of display and cables.     Great sound but no option to fine tune the sound (other than bass & treble). I was looking at this product several months ago and now i have one, i must admit to being impressed in the sound quality. However, it is let down in my opinion by several factors which would have been easy and pretty cheap to add. No option set to the level of the low frequency effects (sub-woofer level). No option to adjust the level of the surround speakers compared with front speakers (or set speaker distance). Very limited surround sound control when listening to none dolby digital or dts sound (too much dialogue from surround speakers).     Practical to use, wonderful sound. . I am far from an expert on cinema style speakers but all the wires has always put me off. This semi wireless solution is quite clever. It comes with 5 speakers:- a subwoofer that is mains powered and the sound is send wirelessly- 2 front speakers that sit either side of the tv. These are mains powered and have hdmi sockets for the tv- 2 detachable speakers that sit on top of the front speakers and charge up. These can then be moved around the room for satellite sound sent wirelessly. The front speakers seem to have all the controls. One is for the tv so that stuff plugged into the tv can use the surround sound. Two are ones that you can plug in directly.

    I have never written a review before but i feel i should as i think this set is highly underrated. I primarily bought them for the conviniance of wireless surround on demand. I expected a good enough sound but was completely blown away with a highly engaging sound which makes for a really wonderful experiance listening to music. When i first set them up in my bedroom with the surround speakers in use i got stuck for over an hour just listening to one of my favourite vivaldi four seasons recording over blutooth from my phone (flac). I have never before had such an experiance with music outside of live conserts. The sound is large, room filling and full of detail and dynamics. It has a smooth warmth to it (the opposite of grainy). I am used to listening to studio monitors which offers a very detailed and “neutral” sound, albeight very boring compared to thesethe only downside is the controller which should have had a lcd display to show the settings.

    Nice detachable speakers, i would have expected the remote control to be bluetooth, but its not and is a bit slow in responding on the initial command to switch on them.

      Great system for the money. . Bought this system in the netherlands. Build quality excellent, wireless functionality works flawlessly. The subwoofer is not very subtle, sometimes overbearing with music. Solved this by putting a foam plug into the air exhaust. Voices are lifted quite a bit, making movies and tv well understandable. With music, voices sound a bit too pronounced sometimes, however, this depends on the recording. Overall very satisfied with this system.
